Lucrez la el … implementam niste chestii, dupa care m-am trezit intr-o acuta lipsa de timp, si l-am lasat in maintenance pentru a nu lasa potentialele gauri de securitate sa apara in structura site-ului. Desi Video Downloader este in aparenta simplu, are in spate un motor foarte complex (si rapid) care necesita multa atentie. O sa ii dau drumul cat de curand …

Au schimbat cei de la Trilulilu algoritmul de incarcare a fisierelor media in playerele lor SWF. Am fost ocupat cu dezvoltarea altor aplicatii proprii (fie publice sau nu) deci acesta este motivul pentru care nu am mai dezvoltat Video Downloader. Am observat si eu aseara acest aspect, deci o sa vad daca este ceva de facut in patch-uirea modulului de Trilulilu al Video Downloader.
Si eu incerc să văd ce au schimbat cei de la trilulilu.ro.
Cred că au introdus sesiuni pentru descărcarea fișierelor, care acum sunt pur streaming. Din pacate, playerul video e bine obfuscat și nu am reușit să fac progrese în a descifra noile schimbari.
Dacă reușești să faci ceva, te rog să mă contactactezi.

De fapt iti descarca stream.php care trebuie redenumit in ceva.mp3 (unde acel ceva e orice). Din pacate scriptul nu este perfect si nu functioneaza pe toate browserele (recomand Firefox). Am scris o versiune mult mai evoluata, dar din pacate nu o pot pune pe server deoarece imi face trafic si risc sa imi suspende contul compania de hosting. Intre timp, deja am inceput sa caut solutii pentru a face o aplicatie pe care fiecare sa si-o downloadeze si sa si-o instaleze, deci sa pot sa o dezvolt mult mai bine decat ceea ce am scris pana in prezent. Timpul este singura resursa care nu imi ajunge …

S-a rezolvat problema downloaderului, dar ca si pana acum, rezolvarea este una temporara. Nu va faceti iluzii ca va tine la nesfarsit, sau ca imediat cum apare problema, am si o solutie pentru ea. Nu sunt magician.
Hmm … I also have Avira Personal on my Windows machine (notebook), but I didn’t use that OS for PHP development for a long-long-looong time. Actually I didn’t use Windows for a long time.
The error might be triggered by the fact that the archive has been compressed with the WinRAR SFX CLI engine, but I do believe that this is a false alarm. A malware could appear only at installation since I use a limited account for everyday usage instead of using admin credentials. Well, it’s time for a complete system check. Thanks for the report.
The author of this plugin told me that his plugin is nothing special and that it uses nothing already supported/integrated plugins don’t use already -> should be fast and easy to integrate…

@Sven: Apparently my cygwin installation doesn’t provide a proper build environment for the sources. The lighttpd compile chokes at mod_flv_streaming. I’ll try a fresh install of cygwin. This is quite old and outdated.

@Sven: unfortunately mod_flv_streaming is a module that comes with lighttpd by default. The configure script doesn’t provide (and even if it is, I didn’t get it by reading the help) a method of disabling the build of the default modules. This is the reason why I can’t compile the lighty which is provided by the mod_h264_streaming developers. They have all the lighttpd sources into their SVN repository, thus you have to do all the stuff. I could try to download the standard source distribution of lighty and manually introduce the mod_h264_streaming as the developers provide the instructions, but if my build environment is faulty, then it might not work. IIRC lighttpd doesn’t have an Apache-like method of compiling a module just by itself (apxs does that) – thus the need for the extra work.

There isn’t A source distribution, there’s THE source distribution provided by the lighttpd developers. However, the latest version from the 1.4 branch (1.4.20) won’t compile, although I managed to find the issue for mod_flv_streaming … but it breaks later. I’ll have a look at the 1.5 branch when my schedule allows me.
That page contains windows executables for Lighttpd, so somebody must have *ported* Lighttpd to windows. My question was whether the changes they have made to make it compile under windows are somewhere available as source. If they are, then I can probably easily add the mod_h264_plugin to that project.
The source for mod_h264_streaming works under 1.4.18, 1.4.19 and 1.4.20 as well as 1.5.0.
Also there seems to be some confusion about which plugin, as he keeps refering to mod_flv_streaming.
The main source tree has a cygwin directory within with makefiles and such. The WLMP project (and my project as well which uses the WLMP lighhtpd build) use cygwin. There isn’t a native Windows port as MinGW or other Windows compilers can’t build lighttpd at all.
My attempt to compile the provided sources *initially* stalled at mod_flv_streaming. There’s no confusion. I have found the issue, thus the compilation process stops later at another lighttpd default plug-in: mod_extforward while compiling mod_extforward.c. Since I’m a Web developer/sysadmin who hasn’t code in C/C++ for years, it’s kinda hard to figure out why it fails under cygwin as building lighty under Ubuntu is painless.

In principiu ar trebui sa downloadezi acel stream.php ce reprezinta fisierul ce te intereseaza si sa ii schimbi extensia cu una potrivita. Se poate ca pluginuri retarde ce se baga in browser (gen QuickTime) sa incerce sa dea play la fisier in loc sa il downloadeze, iar atunci problema se complica putin.
E la fel ca inainte. Din punctul de vedere al interfetei doar versiunea modulului s-a modificat, in rest pentru utilizator schimbarile sunt transparente si functionalitatea este identica. Cum spuneam, problema e de la tine, nu de la mine. Incearca alt browser.

Nu prea ma omor cu jocurile, din lipsa de timp. Vreau sa o iau pentru fiul meu de noua ani iar pentru ceea ce joaca el si rezolutiile folosite este numai buna. Nedumerirea mea e cam de genul acesta…imi recomanzi numai revizia a 3-a ca fiind cea aleasa de tine sau nu conteaza daca e revizia 1 sau 2. Multumesc mult!

O sa fac acum un patch. Micile modificari din structura paginii imi invalideaza functia de file type detect si title detect.

I am not sure I understand. I thought they were maintaining a Windows port of Lighttpd already, as seen here: http://en.wlmp-project.net/downloads.php?cat=lighty
That page contains windows executables for Lighttpd, so somebody must have *ported* Lighttpd to windows. My question was whether the changes they have made to make it compile under windows are somewhere available as source. If they are, then I can probably easily add the mod_h264_plugin to that project.
The source for mod_h264_streaming works under 1.4.18, 1.4.19 and 1.4.20 as well as 1.5.0.
Also there seems to be some confusion about which plugin, as he keeps refering to mod_flv_streaming.

The main source tree has a cygwin directory within with makefiles and such. The WLMP project (and my project as well which uses the WLMP lighhtpd build) use cygwin. There isn’t a native Windows port as MinGW or other Windows compilers can’t build lighttpd at all.
My attempt to compile the provided sources *initially* stalled at mod_flv_streaming. There’s no confusion. I have found the issue, thus the compilation process stops later at another lighttpd default plug-in: mod_extforward while compiling mod_extforward.c. Since I’m a Web developer/sysadmin who hasn’t code in C/C++ for years, it’s kinda hard to figure out why it fails under cygwin as building lighty under Ubuntu is painless.
http://forum.lighttpd.net/topic/34008 – this topic also shows it. v1.4.20 – standard or v1.4.18 – provided by the mod_h264_streaming author also stalls at mod_extforward – thus I’ll try a build without this plugin.

S-a dat drumul la suportul pentru Trilulilu in Downloader. Deasemenea, mentionez din start: nu stiu cat va functiona solutia.

In principiu ar trebui sa downloadezi acel stream.php ce reprezinta fisierul ce te intereseaza si sa ii schimbi extensia cu una potrivita. Se poate ca pluginuri retarde ce se baga in browser (gen QuickTime) sa incerce sa dea play la fisier in loc sa il downloadeze, iar atunci problema se complica putin.
Da’ nu poti sa-l faci sa fie ca-nainte?!…(In plus “save as..”imi apare de cul. gri si e nefunctional, ca sa zic asa)
E la fel ca inainte. Din punctul de vedere al interfetei doar versiunea modulului s-a modificat, in rest pentru utilizator schimbarile sunt transparente si functionalitatea este identica. Cum spuneam, problema e de la tine, nu de la mine. Incearca alt browser.

Soon another build will be available, featuring the same lighttpd v1.4.20 but mod_h264_streaming v2.0. I think that you have a hard coded Home button as well as a dynamically generated button by wp_list_pages() or something like that.

PS: that theme looks more like Redtopia (by the same author).
I think the author is rolling most of his themes into the Technozoic and this was just a color option (http://clark-technet.com/theme-support). I tried to contact them directly but was unable to leave a comment (some error message about karma_content).
So for this theme can I not create a static homepage?
Actually you can use a static home page as soon as you remove the faulty code from the header.php file.
This line creates a duplicate ‘Home’ button:
<li class="<?php if (is_home()) echo’current_page_item’ ?>"><a href="<?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?>" title="Home">Home</a></li>
Remove it, then try again with the dynamically generated links by wp_list_pages();.

Sunt in cautarea unei placi video si pot spune ca mi-a facut cu ochiul frumoasa prezentare – Gigabyte NX96T512M – placa bazata pe nVIDIA 9600GT cu 512MiB DDR3 – care m-a si convins sa achizitionez acest model. Nu prea ma omor cu jocurile, din lipsa de timp. Vreau sa o iau pentru fiul meu de noua ani iar pentru ceea ce joaca el si rezolutiile folosite este numai buna. Nedumerirea mea e cam de genul acesta…imi recomanzi numai revizia a 3-a ca fiind cea aleasa de tine sau nu conteaza daca e revizia 1 sau 2. Multumesc mult!
